Adults 55+

Fall & Winter

Though many of our programs are open to both members and non-members, all prices listed in this section are member prices. For non-member prices please contact the Seniors’ Activity Centre!

If you require assistance or support participating, we would be happy to assist you with finding the right class. Please note that there is an expectation that you will be able to participate independently, when you sign up for classes at the Seniors’ Activity Centre. If you have any questions, please contact Sylvia or Joni in the office.

Volunteer at the SAC

The Seniors’ Activity Centre is an active and vibrant place for adults 55 years of age and older, to participate in programs and activities.

The Centre also has a number of incredible volunteers! These talented and dedicated people enjoy coming in weekly to connect with friends and contribute to the well-being of the Centre and their community. The benefits of volunteering have been proven medically—you only need to talk to one of the volunteers to hear about how important the Centre and volunteering is to them!

If you like additional information on how you can get involved, email Caroline or Melanie.

For the clarification on the steps involved to volunteer, see the Volunteer page. The first step involves signing up for an Adult Orientation. We offer courses once a month.

We’d love to have your help! We are always looking for people to fill in when volunteers go away, or on weekends and for special events.
