Pre-registration is required for access to all programs and facilities. Drop-ins are not permitted (except as noted below).

Planned opening dates are contingent upon the Province’s continued positive response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

West Vancouver Aquatic Centre

October 5
After a successful review of the opening of the Aquatic Centre Leisure Pool, the Aquatic Centre Main Pool will re-open on Monday, October 5. The change rooms, hot tubs, sauna, and steam room will remain closed. Accessible equipment inside the change rooms will be available upon request for anyone who requires it.

September 8

Fitness Centre opens for pre-registered timeslots on July 15.
WVCC Hours: Mon-Fri, 6 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Sat, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; Sun closed.

July 13
Outdoor personal training begins. Book your session.

 

West Vancouver Community Centre

Gymnastics Centre opens for programs.
Registration starts September 30.

September 8

Rehabilitation & prehabilitation programs begin.

July 13
Outdoor personal training begins. Book your session.

July 6
Open for pre-registered outdoor summer camps and programs.

 

West Vancouver Ice Arena

September 14
West Vancouver Ice Arena opens for programs, rentals, and registered timeslots for public skating. The change rooms will remain closed.
Registration starts September 9.

July 8
Open for pre-registered indoor fitness classes.

July 6
Open for pre-registered outdoor summer camps and programs.

 

Gleneagles Community Centre

September 8
Gleneagles Community Centre opens for programs and rentals with staggered start dates for various activities and spaces.
Registration starts September 2.

July 15
Fitness Centre opens for pre-registered timeslots.
GECC Hours: Mon-Sat, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.; Sun closed

July 13
Pottery Studio opens for pre-registered non-instructional timeslots for experienced adult participants.

July 6
Open for pre-registered outdoor summer programs.

 

Clubhouse at Gleneagles Golf Course

Seniors’ Activity Centre

September 8
Seniors’ Activity Centre opens for programs and rentals with staggered start dates for various activities and spaces. The Garden Side Café will remain closed for dine-in food service.
Registration starts September 2.

August 10
SACS on 21st (Seniors' Activity Centre Shop) re-opens.
Store Hours: Mon-Sat, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Sun closed
Donation Drop-off: Wed & Sat, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

July 15
Modifed Shuttle Bus Service resumes.

July 2
Open for pre-registered rehabilitation & prehabilitation programs.

March 14
Open for food take-out service available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

 

Youth Services (various facilities)

October 2
The Bay Scene at Gleneagles Community Centre (grades 6 & 7) re-opens for pre-registered timeslots.
Registration starts September 30.

September 11
Youth Lounge at the West Vancouver Community Centre (grades 6–12) re-opens for pre-registered timeslots.
Registration starts September 2.

July 7
Youth Hub at Park Royal opens for a pre-registered pre-employment program and one-on-one prearranged youth outreach client meetings. 
The District of West Vancouver’s Pre-Employment program for youth is supported by the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and the West Vancouver Foundation.

 

West Vancouver Art Museum

July 8
Open for drop-in visitors.
