Welcome!

The West Vancouver Recreation Health & Fitness program specializes in Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga, CycleFIt, Rehabilitation, Group Fitness and more. Each program is designed with your health and fitness needs in mind. We make it our goal to provide you with a welcoming and motivating environment, an invigorating experience and results that show!

The West Vancouver Health & Fitness team is pleased to offer a selection of modified Health & Fitness programs.

 

Pre-registered Group Fitness (previously drop-in)

Whether you’re just starting out or are looking for a challenge, you’ll find a fitness class that suits your needs. We offer classes at both the West Vancouver and Gleneagles Community Centres. Pre-registration is required. No equipment is provided.

Registration for group fitness classes takes place every Wednesday for the programs beginning the following Monday at 8 a.m. for West Vancouver residents, and at 10 a.m. everyone is welcome to register.

Sessional Registered Fitness Programs

Sessional registered programs will now be up to 4 weeks in length. Registration will take place on a monthly basis. Some exceptions apply.* Registration begins at 8 a.m. for West Vancouver residents, and at 10 a.m. everyone is welcome to register.

• October registration starts on September 30

Fitness Centres

The Fitness Centre at West Vancouver Community Centre (WVCC) and Gleneagles Community Centre (GECC) is open for one-hour-long pre-registered timeslots.

Fitness Centre hours
WVCC Hours: Mon-Fri, 6 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Sat, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; Sun closed.
GECC Hours: Mon-Sat, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.; Sun closed

Virtual Fitness

FitPass Information

Starting on Wednesday, July 22, FitPass holders can reinstate their FitPass upon request. Reinstated FitPasses can then be used to register for group fitness classes and pre-registered weight room timeslots starting on Monday, July 27 at the West Vancouver Aquatic & Community Centre and Gleneagles Community Centre. Should you wish to have your pass reinstated, please email [email protected] or call 604-925-7270. Your pass will be extended to cover the period of time when it was not available for use.

If you prefer not to reinstate your FitPass, it will remain on hold, and no action is required. You may still register for group fitness classes and pre-registered weight room timeslots and pay the single admission fee.

If you have a 10-Visit FitPass that you would like to use to register for group fitness classes and pre-registered weight room timeslots, please call 604-925-7270.

West Vancouver Aquatic Centre | Fitness Centre
Located on the 2nd floor of the Aquatic Centre the Fitness Centre and is equipped with a variety of state-of-the-art workout equipment including ellipticals, treadmills, bikes and more—there’s something to meet the needs of every fitness level. No need to be intimidated—our weight room attendants are always happy to assist!

Saturday
9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Gleneagles Community Centre | Fitness Centre
Located on the 2nd floor of the Gleneagles Community Centre, the Fitness Centre offers a range of state-of-the-art cardio and selectorized strength training equipment, free weights and a stretch area to make your workout complete. Pre-register for a workout today!
